The Pennsylvania Council Of Mediators recently held it’s annual statewide conference in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania where Unruh, Turner Burke and Frees partner David Frees presented the key note address on Neuro-Science and Mediation.
Frees, who chairs the firm’s Trust, Estates and Wealth Preservation Section, is also a nationally known speaker on the topics including Estate Planning, Mediation, and Persuasion and Influence.
According to David, “It was a real honor to speak to the PCM Conference. Mediators are people dedicated to helping parties to come together and resolve their differences without resort to the time, expense, and potentially destructive pressures of litigation. This is especially important in the areas of family business and estate disputes.”
Frees added “It was a pleasure to present some of the cutting edge neuro science on how we communicate and persuade and to show how this knowledge can be applied to help people who have chosen mediation.”
