School Law Chair Amanda Sundquist presented the program “Before You Hit Send: Navigating an E-mail Minefield” at the annual Pennsylvania School Boards Association’s Solicitors’ Symposium in State College Pennsylvania. She addressed ethical, professional, and legal risks school board solicitors may encounter when corresponding by e-mail with the judiciary and their own school clients, and how to limit their and their clients’ exposure. The Pennsylvania School Boards Association, a nonprofit statewide association of public school boards, and its member school entities represent more than 4,500 local school board members.
