UTBF Partner Andy Rau was pleased to attend the National Iron and Steel Heritage Museum’s grand opening of the new Charles L. Huston III Visitor Center in Coatesville on August 6th. This rehabilitated space is the first step in helping museum visitors become immersed in two centuries of iron and steel manufacturing history, and experience the industrial and cultural legacy of Lukens Steel. The new exhibit area will become the gateway into future gathering spaces in the reacquired industrial facilities next door. From World Trade Center steel, to rail lines, submarines and aircraft carriers, the visitor area explains the great history of the steel produced in Coatesville.
UTBF is proud to support the National Iron and Steel Heritage Museum and the Graystone Society, and the collective mission to promote an understanding of the iron and steel heritage of Coatesville and the region.
