Unruh Turner Burke & Frees congratulates the 2022-2023 recipients of the Unruh Turner Burke & Frees Scholarships which were awarded to students from West Chester East High School, Bayard Rustin High School, and B. Reed Henderson High School to support their pursuit of higher education.
The Firm has a long-standing tradition of awarding a $1,000 scholarship to a student from each of West Chester Area School District’s three high schools. The Scholarship Program and tradition allow the firm to champion local students and contribute to the educational pursuits of the next generation.
Students can apply for scholarship awards through their respective guidance counselors in early spring before graduation. Unruh Turner Burke & Frees requires that award recipients have at least a 3.0 GPA and plan to attend a four-year college. Beyond that, each high school has its own process for recipient selection.
Dominic Avagliano is the recipient of the West Chester East High School 2023-2024 Scholarship. Dominic is attending the University of Pittsburgh to pursue a degree in Nursing.
The Bayard Rustin High School 2023-2024 Scholarship recipient is Inaijah Meaux-Hall. Inaijah is attending Towson University, majoring in Psychology.
