Unruh, Turner, Burke & Frees, P.C. is pleased to announce that Thomas R. Wilson has joined the firm as counsel to the litigation group.
Mr. Wilson brings over 36 years of litigation experience in the areas of product liability, personal injury, contracts, business disputes, construction litigation and real estate. The depth of Mr. Wilson’s experience and respect in the trial community is evidenced by his Certificate in Civil Trial Advocacy from the National Board of Trial Advocacy, and positions as a fellow with both the American College of Trial Lawyers and the Litigation Counsel of America.
Recognized as a Super Lawyer© from 2004 through 2009, Mr. Wilson has extensive trial experience in the areas of complex personal injury including safety and automobile crash worthiness. He has successfully taken on numerous cases against automobile and product manufacturers, representing severely injured persons and the estates of those who have lost their lives as a result of a defective product.
Mr. Wilson holds the highest rating for a lawyer from Martindale Hubbell ®- AV Preeminent and he is a member of the Million Dollar and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum for the Top Trial Lawyers in America.
His experience in real estate is extensive, including serving as a municipal solicitor, president of a title abstracting company and counsel for a major realtor in the Philadelphia area. He has a wealth of real estate litigation experience including several major cases involving residential and construction defects and zoning and development issues.
More recently he has received a certificate for completion of more than 40 hours of training in conducting mediation for the litigation case of Pepperdine University in California. He has served as arbitrator and mediator on many occasions.
