Four partners of Unruh Turner Burke and Frees, a 20-attorney firm based in Chester County, were recently named as Top Lawyers in the April 2007 edition of Main Line Today magazine. Chosen by their peers, Donald Turner, Bill Burke, David Frees, and Steve Lagoy joined a select group of 70 attorneys located throughout the Main Line.
Bill Burke, a founding member of the firm, was named Top Lawyer in the Real Estate Law practice area. Bill concentrates his real estate practice in representing privately held commercial and residential developers, including representing clients in structuring and carrying out tax-deferred like kind exchanges or real estate, as well as structuring and creating residential and commercial condominiums and planned communities.
Donald Turner, also a founding member of the firm, focuses on Real Estate Law and Litigation, with an emphasis on resolution through mediation. His designation in the Real Estate practice area solidifies the firm’s strength in the real estate sector. Don is also the founding president of Commercial Dispute Solutions, a non-profit formed to provide mediation and arbitration for a variety of commercial solutions.
David Frees concentrates his practice in the area of Trusts and Estates, with particular attention to wealth and asset preservation. David’s twenty-plus years of experience attracts business people and professionals looking for personalized and strategic solutions to their estate planning. He is a frequent lecturer in the areas of trust and estate planning and administration, charitable giving, communication and presentation skills both locally and nationally.
Steve Lagoy was named Top Lawyer in the Personal Injury Litigation practice area. Steve joined the firm in 2002 and continues to serve his clients with over 30 years of experience. In addition to his expertise with Personal Injury cases, services to his clients include business formations, real estate transactions, commercial litigation, and mediation.
